Overview
Fly Fishing in the UK has a worldwide reputation, home of the dry fly, prime Atlantic salmon rivers, historical haunts of Halford and Skues and the famed Chalkstreams the Rivers Test and Itchen. Not only can Outside Days offer you access to all of these jewels but we can also help you widen your angling horizons with new species, unheard of venues and bankside tuition to make the most of your time on the water.
Fact File
Outside Days sells its British fishing in a number of different formats.
Some waters require the use of a ghillie and others are keepered with someone there should you need them. Where this isn’t the case, we are happy to give you access to the water and allow you to get on by yourself or to provide ghillies, guides or instructors as requested.
Novices are welcome and our guides are very happy to teach the basics. We do, however, request that you let us know if you have done little or no fishing before so we can adjust the session accordingly. This helps us to best advise you on suitable beats, stretches or locations that are suitable for less experienced rods. It means you will get the most out of your time on the water, and are more likely to have success (aka catch).
We can accommodate both individual rods and large groups. Contact us to discuss your requirements in more depth.
Loan tackle is available to rent upon request.
All anglers when fishing in England and Wales must be in possession of an Environment Agency fishing license which can be purchased online, from your local Post Office or can be supplied by Outside Days upon request.
